Roderick Gremillion, better known as ROD!, is an emerging voice in the hip-hop scene, hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His journey into music began in the summer of 2020, but his path has been anything but easy. Growing up in Baton Rouge and spending a part of his life in Mississippi, ROD! has faced the hardships of losing friends and family, experiences that have shaped his outlook and fueled his music.

ROD! has been open about his struggles with depression and anxiety, particularly the impact of losing loved ones. Music has become his outlet, a way to channel his emotions and connect with others who may feel the same. Influenced by a diverse range of artists including Luther Vandross, Moon Long, Rod Wave, Michael Jackson, and Chris Brown, ROD!’s music reflects a deep appreciation for R&B and hip-hop.

For ROD!, the pursuit of music is driven by a lifelong passion and a belief in his own talent. He sees music as a way to achieve his dreams and to share his story with the world. One of his greatest achievements so far has been performing on stage in front of friends, family, and peers, an experience that has bolstered his confidence and commitment to his craft.

Looking ahead, ROD! is eager to release new music, though he remains tight-lipped about specific projects. He continues to record and promises that fresh tracks are on the way. When he’s not making music, ROD! leads a life similar to many others, working with children during the day and finding joy in the everyday moments that shape his world.

Currently he doesn’t have music on on major platforms but check out his soundcloud here: https://on.soundcloud.com/zQCChvc84yohuz2e9
