Scorp Dezel just shook up Nashville in a big way with a songwriting and producer camp that’s going to be talked about for a while. This multi-platinum producer, who’s got credits with heavyweights like Young Thug, Swae Lee, and Joyner Lucas, used his industry connections to pull off one of the most iconic camps we’ve seen this August.

The camp was split between two prime spots—Concord’s studio, a publishing powerhouse, and The Hideout over in the West End of Nashville. But that wasn’t all. There was also a four-story Airbnb that had studios on each floor, making it a creative hub where about 20 songwriters and producers bounced between all three locations. The energy was electric, and by the end of it, a ton of records were produced, some of which fans are probably going to be vibing to in the coming months.

This is exactly the kind of event that drives the music industry forward. It’s more than just a networking opportunity—it’s where the magic happens, where hits are born, and where the future of music is crafted. We need more of this if we want to keep the industry alive and growing.

Scorp Dezel, who’s based in Atlanta, has clearly been expanding his network into Nashville, and this camp is just the beginning. He’s already planning another writing camp, this time in Atlanta, and it’s set to be even bigger. If this recent camp is any indication, the next one is going to be massive, and we can’t wait to see what comes out of it.
