Rainn Sherwood is the name both on and off the mic. Born and raised in the DFW area of Texas, the 15-year-old artist refuses to hide behind a stage persona. Every word, every sound, and every emotion is real and transparent. Rainn doesn’t just make music he lives it.
Inspired by the creative minds that shape the music industry, Rainn finds his motivation in the art itself. “The people who create are what empower me,” he says. Currently vibing with the raw energy of Doechii and the emotional depth of both old-school and modern Hip-Hop, Rainn’s upcoming project set to drop in January introduces a whole new sound and side of his artistry.
Even though he’s just getting started, Rainn sees his youth as his strength. Standing out in a crowd where blending in is easy, he embraces being different and uses it as fuel for his journey. His message to others is simple but powerful: “Do what you want to do, be who you want to be, say what you want to say. The only thing holding you back is you.”
For Rainn, music isn’t just a hobby it’s the heartbeat of his life. Whether he’s performing in marching band, writing lyrics, or zoning out to a song on the way to school, he finds meaning in every note and every line. His craft is his voice and he’s just getting started.
