This Privacy Policy explains how NoFortune (the “NoFortune Collective,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you visit our website, use our marketplace, read our magazine, or engage our services.
NoFortune operates a white-label marketing collective, digital magazine, and online marketplace of fulfillment services at nofortune.com (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Policy applies to all visitors, marketplace partners, customers, readers, and applicants.
If you do not agree with the practices described here, you should not access or use the Service. This Policy is intended to comply with applicable U.S. privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where applicable.
We may collect several categories of information:
We use the information we collect to:
Payments for marketplace services, subscriptions, and credits are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you make a payment, Stripe collects and processes your card data in accordance with its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance requirements. We receive tokenized payment confirmations and limited billing metadata (such as the last four digits of a card, card brand, and transaction status) sufficient to manage your orders and invoices. We do not store, view, or retain full payment card numbers.
Partners who participate in our affiliate or referral program have an upline relationship attributed to their account. We record referral links, attribution locks, commission rates, pending balances, withdrawal requests, and payout history. This data is used to calculate earnings, process withdrawals, verify referral integrity, and prevent fraud or double-attribution. Commission balances may be presented as marketplace credits redeemable at checkout or convertible to cash payouts at our published conversion rates, subject to our Terms of Service.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information after account closure where required by law, to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect against fraud, or maintain financial and commission records for the period permitted by applicable tax and accounting laws. Order, invoice, and commission records may be retained for up to seven (7) years to satisfy legal and accounting obligations.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss could occur. Supplier portal credentials, where applicable, are stored in obfuscated form and revealed only through controlled admin access.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@nofortune.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 18, please contact us at legal@nofortune.com and we will take steps to delete such information.
Your information may be processed, stored, or transmitted in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these jurisdictions, which may have data protection laws that differ from those of your home country. We take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers comply with applicable law.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, integrations, and services (such as social platforms, payment processors, messaging providers, and fulfillment panels). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you interact with.
With your consent, we may send you newsletters, magazine updates, and marketing materials about our services. You can opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, updating your account settings, or contacting us. Transactional messages (such as order confirmations and account notices) are not marketing communications and will be sent as needed to operate your account.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
